I am so thankful for the abundance in our community. We are able to explore farms, businesses, institutions and local municipalities while growing friendships and creating memories with our children. It is a beautiful gift to look around and be able to access so many experiences. We have come together to infuse of our own talents and creativity into events and have kept the simplicity of childhood. This website is a resource to bring community families together, foster friendships and explore. I have found it hard to find the time to manage all-the-things in life but I have finally found time to add this page to share where we have explored and offer each as a suggestion for you, your family and friends.
Our Story
This journey for me sparked when a kind person at the library introduced herself, introduced me to her friends and invited my daughter and I to lunch with her son and a small group of friends after story time. I was new to the area and it was the first time as a new mom to make friends outside of work or school. This was also two years after COVID when people were slowly emerging back into routines and establishing a new sense of normal. The kindness this friend offered was sincere... and it was needed and appreciated. It inspired me to be more open and a small friend text message group grew and grew into this website. This one act of kindness spiraled and is thankfully a core value in our group. I hope that each new friend feels this vibe and enjoys this journey too.
